Beechwood Equipment Ltd Awarded Enabling Contract By UK Ministry of Defence

November 08, 2011--Beechwood Equipment is based in Surrey and was founded in 1987. The company is ISO9000 and ISO14000 accredited and is an approved MoD supplier NCAGE: KOF-83. The company specialises in the supply of optical sights, electro optical devices including night vision and thermal vision, firearms and ancillary equipment to UK law enforcement agencies and UK Ministry of Defence.

Light Weapons Photographic and Batteries Project Team, part of MoD Defence Equipment & Support, Abbey Wood and Bristol have placed an Enabling Contract with Beechwood Equipment for the continued supply of In-service weapon sights and pistols.

Contract LWPB/00079 is a 3 year enabling arrangement with an estimated final value of ?5,000,000 The contract details are published in the Official Journal of European Union (OJEU) and MoD Defence Contracts Bulletin and subject to Public Contracts Regulations 2006.
